Background: I am a second generation real
estate professional, born and raised in the Santa Barbara South
Coast area, currently living in Bakersfield. I have attended local schools including Santa
Barbara City College and the University of California Santa
Barbara. I am instilled with a keen appreciation for the
controlled growth and environmental concerns that affect
the immediate region. I have also lived in other communities in
California as well as overseas.
Work Experience:
In addition to selling
millions of dollars worth of properties for clients, I have bought
and sold many millions of dollars worth of personal & partnership real
estate in various parts of California;
these sales were accomplished while handling over 100 as a Sole
Proprietor, and, Managing General Partner.
Highlights of my occupational
experience include several years working in upper level management
(both in public and private sectors) in corrections, counseling,
infra-red (LED & Laser) electro-mechanical-optical digital & analog
communications, international bio-tech/natural foods, and,
twenty years in real estate sales and residential and commercial
real estate development in various locales in California and
other states. In working for others, as well as managing my own
companies, I have accumulated extensive experience in evaluating
raw land/lots, processing projects through agencies such as LAFCO,
Planning & Environmental Health, constructing utilities and roads,
home building, sales and marketing. I am particularly experienced
with Parcel Maps, Home Owners Associations, Planned Unit
Developments (PUD) and other types of subdivisions. My construction
background also allows for assisting clients in assessing present
and future building needs, engineering & architectural concerns,
and project costs.
General Information: I am a member the National
Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors and
local Board of Realtors.I know what it takes to get
a deal done right. Being both highly knowledgeable, and easy-going,
I treat your real estate venture with my
extensive experience and consideration even more carefully
than I would my own.
Community: I am very proud of my community
and have been an on-going volunteer at the Santa Barbara Chamber of
Commerce’s Visitor Center as well as a volunteer on the Carpinteria Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Vitality Committee.
I have recently relocated to Bakersfield.
Interests:
My hobbies and interests include
golfing, photography, folk music, camping, fishing, Southwest art,
graphic design, and touring California.
